In Addition to iPad, Now Runs on Samsung, LG, Motorola, Google, Amazon Tablets and Smart Phones; Scholarships Available for Users in Need

BOSTON – Nov. 24, 2014 – Constant Therapy, a developer of cloud-based mobile solutions enabling people with speech, language, cognition, memory and learning disorders to access science-based brain therapies anywhere and anytime, today launched an Android version of its mobile solution, which runs on a variety of Samsung, LG, Motorola, Google, Amazon and other Android smart phones and tablets.

As a result, users will now be able to access the award-winning solution with a growing library of over 60 tasks and 15,000 exercises on their choice of mobile devices and tablets. An iPad version has been available since earlier this year, and the Android version is now available at the Google Play and Amazon App Store.

The company also announced that it is offering a limited number of scholarships for those patients with financial needs.

The mobile solution can be used independently by stroke and traumatic brain injury survivors seeking to improve their daily living skills, and it can be used in conjunction with a clinician as an integral part of therapy. It integrates groundbreaking research on brain plasticity and rehabilitation from Boston University and other leading institutions that show that brain injury and stroke survivors can continue to improve if they have access to effective science based therapies.

Constant Therapy also incorporates years of research and a self-learning algorithm, leveraging a comprehensive brain performance database for the brain-impaired population. It is in use nationwide with thousands of patients and clinicians at prominent, nationally recognized healthcare institutions, including Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, The Stroke Comeback Center and MossRehab Aphasia Center.

Constant Therapy is vastly different from many of the brain improvement and rehabilitation apps available today. Instead of simply replicating standard brain exercises and flashcards, the application’s NeuroPerformance EngineTM creates a highly customized and detailed map of each user’s strengths and deficits across 14 different categories. The solution then delivers the optimum combination of exercises that are uniquely tailored to each user’s deficit profile.  Furthermore, as people use the system, it continuously measures their performance and encourages constant user progress with fresh and engaging content.
